We urge you to wear a Wootton Road Runners running vest for running races. This vest – the style, the colours and the portrayal of our distinctive pink and purple – is officially recognised by UK Athletics and will ensure you and/or your team are eligible to represent the Club in that race.

The Club vest also clearly identifies you as a Wootton Road Runner to team mates and anyone that what’s to cheer you on … you can be seen coming from miles away in the Club vest. It makes you feel part of a team too.

Wootton Tri kit

Our Triathlon kit, though very similar, is also not official running kit. Wearing it for cross-country, road or other running races risks you being ineligible to represent the Club in that race. This guideline applies to all the tri tops and tri suits.

In the reverse scenario, you are normally able to compete in tri competitions in the clothing of your choice. The governing tri bodies are not as particular as UK Athletics about what you wear to represent your Club.
